“Instead of the narrow homogenization of view points serving corporate or political interests that we have today, emphasis should be placed on nurturing a thriving and diverse local culture.”

Allen said community radio gives the opportunity to prove what radio can and should do: Reflect the interests, lifestyles and diversity of the people it serves.”
