Coffee House Writers

Denella Kimura has published two poetry books, “Poetry Reading at the Panama Hotel” and “Waiting for Wings: A Child’s Journey.” She’s also published chapbooks, articles, devotionals, book reviews and drama.  

Denella Kimura is the moderator of the Third Friday Open Reading, recorded by David Simerley at Sonora Joe’s Coffee Shoppe in downtown Sonora. The program is aired as the Coffee House Writers on KAAD-LP and and features local poetry and prose writers reading their original work. 

In addition to Coffee House Writers, Denella also produces Favorite Things on KAAD-LP.
